Open or scan a document

Choose Open PDF to select a file, or Scan document to capture paper pages with your camera. You can also try the practice document. Password-protected PDFs need an unlocked copy.

Add a signature or fill a form

Open Sign, add a new signature, draw it, and save it with a name. Choose a saved signature to insert it. Use the editor tools to add text, a date, or checkmarks. Hold a mark briefly to move it, or select it and use the corner handle to resize it.

Export and purchases

Editing is available before purchase. Export requires Pro access. Choose the export control, complete a purchase if needed, and select where to save or share the PDF. Plans and prices are shown before you confirm with Apple.

Restore access

Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase and choose Restore purchases in settings or the purchase screen. Check your internet connection if plans or access do not appear.

Manage a subscription or request a refund

Manage renewals in Apple subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. For refund requests, visit Apple Report a Problem.

Drafts and privacy

Drafts and saved signatures are stored locally and excluded from device backups. Export a copy before removing the app or changing devices. The app does not provide cloud sync. Read our privacy policy.

About signatures

Sign PDF adds visual signatures and annotations. It does not provide certificate-based digital signatures, identity verification, or a signing audit trail.
